Passports to CPC Ottawa January 2018

5. Passport Delivered - 2 Feb 2018
6. Application Approved - 9 Feb 2018
7. Return Tracker: 12-Feb-2018
8. Passport & COPR delivered: 14-Feb-2018

Basically everything wrapped up in 2 months, could have been early if -

• FBI check hadn't taken a century to process.
• getting pictures in 50x70mm format is a pain-in-the ass in US.

I have couple questions
Which address that you send your passport? Do they mention in the PPR e-mail or you have to figure it out? I think the office that you have sent is different from the ones we got TR visa
The 2 50x70mm photo are send along with the passport to Ottawa?

The same name appeared As the signature for my documents as well...don’t worry about it...my application updated to approved within two days after they signed for it and within a day they sent back my passport ...(well it should be here on Monday as Canada post don’t deliver on weekends )

My friend submitted passport for stamping on sat to CPC ottawa and needs to travel to india due to family emergency on coming sat.passport reached today .
What can she do to get it back ? She is based out of toronto .Please suggest asap.
Can she go to Ottawa to collect it back ? Is that an option ?

I dont think it is important. As long as you have the tracking details and it is sent to the correct address, it is not going to be a problem. From this forum, I saw various names appearing on delivery signatures.

Hello friends, I have a question. Hoping to hear your expert opinions.

We received passport request recently on March 7th. Principal applicant is in Canada and they sent their passport to Ottawa on March 20 which got delivered on March 21st. Principal applicant asked for extension of time to allow the dependent to submit their passport as they are in a different country. CPC sent another email addressing the principal applicant asking to submit passport in the other country by April 23rd.

Does that mean, Ottawa will wait for the dependent to submit their passport before they will issue COPR to the principal applicant who is in Canada and submitted their passport at Ottawa? Or will they process the COPR independent of each other i.e. Ottawa will process the Principal Applicant and return their passport to address in Canada and Delhi to the dependent?

Usually how long do they take to return passport + COPR from Ottawa?
