Passport received by Ottawa May 12th

Application approved and closed May 26th.

Congratulations. That gives me holes. Mine was received in Ottawa May 13th. I am probably in the queue

Im not sure what is happening with my case. My passport reached on 5/6. But my application is not approved yet. When I called CIC last week they said that passport is sent for printing on 17th. Yesterday I got a response for my email query that they have received my passport and will be returning it soon. But its been almost 3 weeks and Im not sure whether I should be worried. What do you guys think?

You yourself answered your question. They told you that your passport was received, sent for "printing" and will be returned soon. Then what is it that you are not sure about? chill bro 8)

Finally, my application was updated to Approved. PP reached CPC on 5/6. Looks like I was an outlier w.r.t average wait times. Good luck all.

I sent my passport on 13 May (friday) and it was delivered to Ottawa on 16-May.

Finally, my application was updated to Approved this morning!! Yay! Hopefully I'll receive passports on Monday!

First thing i would do is contacting IRCC.

That's bad and sad. I suggest your asking for an official letter from Canada Post saying they have lost the package with tracking number containing your passport. They can send it to you through email very quickly, tell the resolution specialist you are talking to at Canada Post Customer Service Network, he/she can send it to you through email.
Immediately contact the visa office where you sent your passport explaining the situation and request for an extension. Finally, start the new passport application.

I was in your situation, I sent my passport on May 04 as well, it was the postal clerk who messed up by entering a wrong postal code for destination. I was making on average 4 calls to Canada Post customer service and kept escalating it until they found it a week later.

I hope you get it sorted out as soon as possible.
