PASSPORTS TO CPC-OTTAWA IN March 2016

Getting concerns of what's going on. Our package reached Ottawa on Mar 4th and there is still no updates. Called CPC yesterday and they said as long as it's still within the 6 month from the submission date they won't check it. Also emailed them a few days ago and just got a reply from CIC saying that they've received the passport and will send them back soon.

Hope we all get our CoPR back soon!

Still no updates on my profile :-( I am getting worried now! I see that for people who sent their passports on 7th Mar have got their application approved. Mine reached on 7th too but it isn't approved yet....

quick question..for those who went through vfs....what are the documents that need to be submitted other than passport and photo....any fee to be paid upfront...please reply ,im planning to submit on 21st

Hi friends, My application status is now closed and it's approved . Hope my passport's return tracker will get activated by today evening. Planning to do border crossing this long weekend.

I received my passport today!

PP sent: March 7
Approved & Closed: March 18
PP received: March 21

I saw mine updated to Approved, but when I click into the Submitted Application the status is still not changed to Approved. Is this normal?

Check it again after 6 hours will change and close

I received an email today requesting passport. But there is no request letter in the cic website system. Is that the same case for you guys?

Hi Guys,
I received the email from CIC on Jan 28 and they said if im able to land before march 18th , due the medical will be expire, i replied yes,
After 2 days i received other email i have to do medical, i did,
then they asked updated passport of my family member what i sent them, then they said my wife and children should redo medical for second time, So i would like to know is any one have idea normally after how long they are asking for passport ?

Yeah it's normal. Everyone received passport request just by email. Didn't receive any message in CIC. Congrats for your PPR

Finally had our application approved and closed today. Passport reached Ottawa on Mar 4. It took a while on this one.
