PASSPORTS TO CPC-OTTAWA in June 2016

I called them yesterday, they were telling me my passport has been put into the mail for sending.

but my tracking # is still not active.

I thought it might because Canada Post is striking and also due to the delay of the holiday.

Let wait till next Monday.

But it is really annoying.

So for yours they have given it to Canada post or is it with Cpc ? And if given to Canada piste then when it was given?

the agent told me it was put into the mail box awaiting pick up by Canada post.
But at that time she was not sure have they picked up or no.

And my tracking # is not actived still so far

But return tracker not activated yet. Guess it'll have to wait until after the strike.

Thursday afternoon, I got an email from the visa printing section to verify my mailing address on the return envelope. I'm an outland applicant, so my Canadian address is not in their file. The email even said something like, "don't worry, everything is in order, this is just for security purposes".

My tracker got activated Thursday evening, I guess that's when Fedex picked it up. Although it got held up in customs on Friday for no commercial invoice (even though Fedex's website clearly mentions that no customs invoice is required for documents).

After making several calls to Fedex regarding this, finally last night it got cleared by customs. It's en route and should come by Tuesday.

Originally CPC thought my package was being delivered by Canada Post, so they told me it may take 2 days for the tracker to get activated, so this might be why people are experiencing delays in addition to the holidays.

Hopefully after all this is done, we can enjoy a cold brew at Distillery District, good luck everyone.

My passport was at CPC-Ottawa for TRV stamping and the tracker got activated yesterday and out for delivery today. I'm in Alberta.

Tracker activated today. Destination is GTA. Hope I get it before Friday's work stoppage.

Hey guys, need your help with Canada Post.

I have sent my passport to Ottawa two weeks ago, case closed and approved last Wednesday. CIC confirmed they sent out my passport this Monday.

However, the tracking # never got activated.

I called CIC to confirm the tracking #, as well as Canada Post. The guy from Canada Post told me if they have no information on the parcel, then they didn't receive it.

I can't stop thinking about the possibility that my passport is lost by Canada Post, please kindly suggest what I can do at this point.

my application got approved on the 1st and i am still waiting for the return tracker to get activated too! i hope its just canada post making it late.
