PASSPORTS TO CPC-OTTAWA in June 2016

Hey Everyone,

Needed advice on if I should try contacting CIC, here's my timeline.

CPC PP Request - June 3rd
PP Delivered - June 7th
CPC Sent Email for Missing Photo Request - June 9th (I sent 2 passport photos with my passport but I suppose they were denied for not meeting Canadian specifications, I sent an email regarding this for more info on June 9th, but never received a response).
Photos by Canadian sepcifications Delivered : June 14th
CoPR - Waiting

Any advice on how I should proceed as my passport has been with CIC since June 7th and I haven't really heard anything from them besides the missing photo request, nothing since.

I'd say try both raising a CSE and calling them.

BTW, the tracking number got activated this morning and it shows that the parcel is in my city, which is weird because the tracking number was not activated yesterday! I hope I get it today!

Thanks for the response Han, I'll try emailing them again. I tried calling the IRCC call center at 1-888-242-2100 but nobody answers. Is there any other number I can try calling ?

Hi,

I have sent my passport June 18 (delivered June 21). Application approved and closed yesterday June 28, tracker activated the same day. Expecting to receive my passport today as tracker says it is in my city already

Trackers being activated for most inland or outland too ?

I think IRCC offices are closed due to the holiday on July 1st, hence nobody is answering any calls.

I live in London Ontario.
When I track it , it says that it is out for delivery. I will hopefully get it this afternoon.

Mine got delivered yesterday but they only updated the tracker this morning.

I am very angry with Canada Post as it got delivered to the wrong address but luckily, my landlord got it this morning from the neighbor it got delivered to

Just be aware of that!

They need your signature for delivery!!!

I am wondering if no one was in they got a signature from a neighbor but as far as I am concerned they should have left a card.

Idiots - they don't need to go on strike, they need to sort out a better service!

I came home from work to get it myself! It says out for delivery since 10:30 and still nothing!! It is frustrating.
They definitely need to improve their system.

I am speculating the same thing! I am sitting at work and thinking whether I should go back home to collect it. In my case, if they can't deliver it, I just have to pick up from a post office which is really close to my place.

It is out for delivery since morning.

I received my passport along with the CoPR this afternoon. Thank God Canada Post didn't loose it.

did you noticed your status changed after you receiving the email or you just randomly logged in and found out?

Mine changed yesterday as well but tracking# is not active :-[
