PASSPORTS TO CPC-OTTAWA IN Jan 2016 - LETS CONNECT!!

My app got closed and approved today morning.
Now waiting for the return tracker to get activated.

Actually I dont think CIC works on the weekend. They might have closed the application on Friday but there was a delay with the system so the email was sent on the weekend.

My fellow Inlanders, I have sent my passport for the PR stamping. Will they also send the PR card or should I apply for that separately? Also, if i have to apply for the separately, can I apply for it now before receiving my passport back?

They will return your passport along with COpR. You go to the border or make appointment in CIC office to do landing formalities. 2 or 3 months after landing they will send your PR card in Mail to your address

Your application might get approved (and return tracker activated) in 2-3 days as per current trends.

Mycic application will get closed and approved first. And return tracker will be activated post that. Please let me know when your application gets approved, my passports also reached ottawa on 19th.
