Passports to CPC-Ottawa in February 2019

Hi there,
The tracker showed that CPC Ottawa received my passport on 2/11. I sent it from USA through UPS.
Today 2/20, I saw my CIC account showed that my application is approved but my tracker of return envelop has not activated. I am wondering if they receive my passport so they update my account to be approved? Or after receiving PPR and then your CIC account will become approved in 20 days (I got my PPR on 1/31). Please share your time line or let me know how long you get your COPR back. Thanks!!

Hello!

The status changes to approve only after the package that you sent is actually opened by an officer at IRCC. I got PPR on 31 Jan and CIC received the passport on 2/11 but no updates for me yet.

Timeline:

PPR: 31 Jan 2019
Passport Sent: 6 Feb 2019
Passport Delivered: 11 Feb 2019
Approved: No update
Return tracker: No update

Yes, my CIC account showed "Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details." They sent me an email to ask me to check the status but there is no any message below for details tho. How do you know that "The status changes to approve only after the package that you sent is actually opened by an officer at IRCC?"

Still waiting for them to activate my return envelop....

That is my assumption. My passport has not been received by the office yet hence no approval message.

It will come soon! I tried to call IRCC but couldn't talk to any agent. It just ask me to enter my number and told me it got approved. So I guess we can just wait. I saw someone said " Usually, it takes 2 weeks to receive it back in Toronto!"
We have the same timeline so I guess it should activate the week of 2/25.... finger crossed

Folks,
Sent my PPs to CPC Ottawa from US which were delivered on 14th feb . Got a request to send photos of all family members again. Photos delivered on Feb 21st. Waiting game started for checking the approval message on CIC profile page.

When did you get the photo request? My passport was delivered on Feb 15, but no update yet.

I got the request on Feb 18th as pics were not as per Canadian specifications.

Great! Unfortunately I do not know where my passport is, or what stage am I at. What was your AOR date?
