PASSPORTS TO CPC-OTTAWA in April 2016

Not sure if this is the right thread for this....

So, I got passport request today from CIC!

Got a question for you guys. I'm the principal applicant in our application along with my wife. I currently work and live in Canada, whereas my wife lives in India. But she is currently visiting me here and staying with me on a Visitor Visa (other than that she has no immigration status here in Canada). How should we go about submitting our passports? Can we both submit ours together in one envelope by post to CPC-Ottawa? Or does she need to submit her's at a visa office in India and I do mine here within Canada? We got 30 days starting today for submission.

Anyone have or know about similar situations?

I think so cause my friend has the same situation with u and thats what he did. someone else advise plz in this forum

I dropped mail to CPC Ottawa regarding my pp status. And i got reply back that they have received my pp, and would be returning back soon. They have not shared any times though, but its relieving to know that they have pp and working on it.

Also pretty impressed to get the response back from cpc-ottawa within one day.

My passport reached Ottawa - 19th April.
myCIC updates are awaited.

PP sent : 26 April 2016
PP delivered in Ottawa : 28 April 2016

No update on CIC account Probably it will be too soon to expect that :

Approved last Wednesday and closed on Thursday. Tracker still not activated :-\
