PASSPORTS TO CPC-OTTAWA in April 2016

Its been 3 days since my application is approved and closed, return tracker is still not activated yet; my passport was delivered on 18th as well. :-X :-X

they received mine on 18 as well and my app closed on 22. I saw two people have the same timeline with me i was panic this morning.
Then I received an email from CIC said everything is good to go but the address on envelope is not in their electronic file, so they email me to confirm the address.... But the address is correct..... I have no idea. just wait now... hope they can sent out today

Guys, with CPC Ottawa and CSE, I have noticed that many times, they work on your request, but does not respond back to you. They will consider your request and work accordingly but wont waste/spend time in respond back to your email/inquiry.


So relax, wait and watch..

Shall I send my passport to Ottawa along with my request letter to change Visa office to New Delhi for my spouse visa? Or wait for the response from CPC Ottawa??

Where do you see "approved"?

when you log in to your MYCIC ACCOUNT. On the welcome page you see all the efile applications that you already submitted to CIC, I can see "APPROVED' over there.

Yesterday evening I got an update on my CIC account and now it is showing approved but when I click on to check the status of my profile its still showing: Review in progress
BG in progress
Final decision: Not started
Anyone who had the same experience ?

PPR: 15 April
PP Sent: 18 April
PP Received: 20 April

Same thing happened to me. It got updated to closed in about 20 hours.

Same here (passport delivered 20 Apr) , I see people who got PPR - Apr 15 have started getting back their passport or at least updates in their My CIC account.

Would it be good to drop an email to CPC Ottawa and ask about any updates. Is it too early ?

Pls. suggest.

Passport received by CIC on 20th April

Waiting for return tracker to be activated.

Don't be so afraid. I don't know what is happening there but you are not alone. Me too the same.

Just try to wait patiently. It took exactly 2 weeks for me from the date CIC Ottawa received my passport to the date I got it back.
