Hey Guys,
My application is updated as "approved and closed" yesterday..
How long does it usually take for return tracker to get activated after that?

Thank you.

It took exactly 2 weeks for me from the date they received my passport to the date I got it back (11 days after application was approved and closed).

They received my passport on April 20th.
My application got closed today, April 27th.
The return tracker is not activated.

My application is approved just now :). But the status inside is not closed. Hopefully by tomorrow.

Passport Received : 20th April

My passport reached Ottawa - 19th April.
myCIC updates are awaited.

retun tracker activated 27 April
pp reached ottawa 18 april
application approved and closed 22 April

good luck every1

I started to panic a bit.
PPR Apr 15, Passport received on April 20.
Haven't got any update on mycic so far.
What are the possible reasons?

Hi all
Yesterday evening I got an update on my CIC account and now it is showing approved but when I click on to check the status of my profile its still showing: Review in progress
BG in progress
Final decision: Not started
Anyone who had the same experience ?

PPR: 15 April
PP Sent: 18 April
PP Received: 20 April

We have the similar timeline.

Where do you see "approved"?

After you send an email to the ID on your PPR, they will revert back within 3-5 days. Sometimes it takes a little longer, but the average is not more than 7-10 days. They will have to notify NDVO and you will get a new set of instructions for your spouse's PP. I believe for the NDVO after the change is approved, you spouse will have to submit the PP at a VFS centre.

I sent an email.. have not heard from CPC-Ottawa yet. As per autoreply message, it takes 20 business days to respond the mail.. it means a month!!!

That is what the auto reply says, but usually they revert back within 3-5 business days.

Guys, with CPC Ottawa and CSE, I have noticed that many times, they work on your request, but does not respond back to you. They will consider your request and work accordingly but wont waste/spend time in respond back to your email/inquiry.

So relax, wait and watch..

Same here (passport delivered 20 Apr) , I see people who got PPR - Apr 15 have started getting back their passport or at least updates in their My CIC account.

Would it be good to drop an email to CPC Ottawa and ask about any updates. Is it too early ?

Pls. suggest.
