Hi,

Did they also request you to send two photos as well? Is that the last thing we have to do before receiving our PR card?

Thanks,

Thanks,

When you get the PPR, you send the PP, 2 photographs. But you apply for a PR card when you land. That is the time when they actually ask you for a mailing address where the PR card will be sent in Canada. So the processing start after landing and not before.

My passport reached on April 6 but nothing has changed in myCIC account yet. Is there anyone else who has the same status or all of you who got their passports delivered on April 6 have their CIC accounts updated?

Hang in there, sometimes it takes a day or two longer. For me MyCIC changed to application approved today. My return tracking number has not yet been activated.

For @kvr007, even though his application reached Ottawa, his MyCIC showed application approved and he has received his PP and COPR back.

Give it time and stay calm.

I got the PPR on Apr. 5 also, and Ottawa got it on Apr. 8. When did your PP reach Ottawa?

I'm already in Canada. Should I leave Canada and return to validate my confirmation of Permanent Residence?

If you don't want to flagpole or leave the country, you can call CIC to schedule an appointment at a local CIC office near your place.
