Passports to CPC Ottawa-August 2017

No updates on CIC account...

Mine is LVO, sent passport to Ottawa delivered 30 Aug, no update on CIC whatsoever. Called cic on last Monday and he told me that ppt is in print room

My assumption for those who sent their passports for visa stamping and COPR on later dates which is after Aug 29 and Aug 30 received passport and COPR before us their VO must be other than CPC Ottawa as per the current trend CPC Ottawa is taking anywhere between 4-6 weeks to process. My wife submitted her passport to NDVO and she received it back within 3 days whereas I submitted before her and still didn't receive it.

This is for CPC Ottawa where couple of 1st Sept got it

Hi:

Just an update about my case. Got official approval today.

My passport was delivered on Aug. 25th but according to their system, it was received on Aug 30th. My application was approved on Sep. 15th.

Guys, if I'm from one of those countries that just have to send scanned copies of the passport, won't it take less than for others who have to submit the actual passport?
I've received update and my application details in MyCic were changed and now says "Approved" only 2 days after they received my package. Does it mean it's been stamped and approved? Thank you!

My timeline:
PPR Date: Sep 5th
Passport Sent Date: Sep 7th
Courier Passport Delivered Date: Sep 11th
PR application details in MyCIC changed to approved: Sep 13th

Wait for 1-2 weeks. My case was approved on Aug 17 and I got the COPR on Aug 25

I did call CIC on Sep 14 and asked to expedite the process and the agent sent in a note. Within few hour, I received a phone call saying they are mailing it today and also received an email saying it has been mailed with tracking number & my address.

Planning on landing at Sarnia, ON tomorrow!

Does any one know that for outland applicants who send their passports for COPR to CPC-Ottawa, when Visa is stamped on passports, who updates MyCIC with "approved" and "decision made", Whether it is the respective outland visa office or CPC-Ottawa where passport is sent.

By calling them on IRCC telephonic contact from within Canada

Yup we have CPC Ottawa as our processing Center.

Well that answers it I should say I am pretty good with analysis hope this backlogs get cleared soon sending best wishes to everyone for hassle free landing ahead, good luck.

I would wait until next week and see if the status changes as from what I have read on this forum Application status should first change to Approved and that's when the return label activates having said that there's nothing to worry as it should change no later then next week for you if it didn't already. There are delays longer then expected CIC agent advised me to wait until the end of this month and call them back in first week of October so we know and aware that this is an ongoing trend now
