Still nothing changed on my cic . Hopping to get approved today .

My CIC status updated to approved March 8th
Waiting for the return tracker to activate

I am planning to go to Croatia end of May. I have a dilemma wether I should do the landing ASAP (I am worried that my PR card will not come by then) or when I return to Canada by plane, landing at YVR.
My current WP expires on May 18th and I would be doing the landing after that. Will the airline let me board the flight only with COPR and my visa-exempt country passport?

Copy of passport received by CPC Ottawa on the 6th of March. Applicatio approved today 9th of March. Return tracker not activated yet.

Hey yelenah. Congratulations

Airlines WILL NOT allow you on board with CoPR. Again just to make clear. The CoPR that you receive is not valid unless u land. Once you land u are PR.

I have friends, what they did - They landed and went home. i am gonna send them pr cards by UPS.

In addition. It only took 6 weeks for pr card

Hi,

After dealing personally with immigration since 2013 (study permit, OWP for spouse, then PGWP for myself and another spousal OWP, then OINP employer driven stream - International student, then PR), I realized I finally made a mistake!

I forgot to write the name and DoB at the back of one photo, as usual.
I guess it's never too late to screw somewhere, and delay things...

Any chance photos will be accepted as such? Should I wait for them to return them or just go ahead and take new - resend docs?

I think you will be fine. I have heard many miss it and no issues. When did you submit passport?
