Yes she sent a mail to them yesterday morning, got a reply in the afternoon and her profile was updated in the evening. She sent a mail to accra.immigration@international.gc.ca

I did not! But I called vfs Lagos sometimes last week to complain about my tracking info showing ‘no record found’. The lady I spoke with said no issue that my passport was dispatched to Ghana on the 28th dec.

Submitted my passport at VFS abuja on tuesday-22nd of January. I guess I should just chill for a while.

Application approved; January 23rd, 2019 (no email update). Final approval Profile update happens in the evening for Accra VO. That's when you should check.
Application Approved email update: January 24, 2019
Passport received: (pending)

No really. It's supposed to take an average of 14 days (10 working days to approval) from past trends but it's just getting back there. People who submitted on the 8th of January also got theirs approved on the 23rd, so I guess they're finally back to work now (weeks after the holidays).

Give it 2 weeks before you start checking for Approval. That's the earliest timeline I've seen recently
