its been a month now.what the hell are they doing in their offices...do i have to email london off regarding passport? cz they had clearly mention tht in email...ok guys u got any email regarding orientation services?r u registering with them..r u availing any of those services?

be patience...don't panic. u can email them but its useless......as they reply u in 28 days.

I got pp back on 54th day..........so u can imagine the pain I was in during the waiting....just pray to Allah and stay positive. there is nothing to worry....its just they are taking so much time due to un disclosed reasons.

the email u received from LVO to submit PPR......in that email they have mentioned to contact IOM to register for pre departure orientation sessions. they have mentioned email of IOM. u have to send IOM an email requesting them to register u for orientation session. they will ask u to send some info and doc via email. when u do that they will tell u to wait for any upcoming session in your city (only in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad) or if u live in any other city u will have to travel to any of these to attend it. then when any session is finalized and confirmed, they will inform u via email, tell u date and time and place and send u electronic entry pass and details.

that's how u can register for orientation sessions. good luck,

the correspondence is the last PPR email from lvo. just forward them the last email u have received from lvo about PPR where they have mentioned about completion of ur pr process. normally LVO sends a MS Word file in that email as attachment which contains the instructions on how to submit your passport to Islamabad. either send that whole email to IOM or send that file as attachment.

actually IOM needs to verify which clients have completed the process. so it doesn't matter if u have got ur pp back from Islamabad or not.......if u have got PPR...means ur process is complete now and u can attend session.

update about landing.

guys Alhamdulillah my tickets are finalized now.

I m inshAllah leaving on 8th april 2015, via emirates....A380 :D

will reach Toronto the same day at 4:45pm local time inshALlah.

anyone going on the same date via Emirates please keep in touch so that we can share and enjoy the journey.

even if u r going with any other airline but on the same date then also do let me know.......at least we can meet at Toronto airport :D

good luck to all.

yes i have received this orientation in september at IOM Islamabad after my medicals....now i again contacted with coordinator to arrange an orientation in Islamabad...she asked me to contact her in I st week of march...today i will call her to ask...everybody can contact with Ms.Sadia Zarif(szarif@iom.int)...she makes arrangement for orientation....its a very useful session...u can also attend Canadian Immigrant Integration Program (CIIP) which is online...There is a high demand for CIIP sessions and a limited number of spaces available. By participating in this session, you will be eligible for a personalized My Action Plan (MAP) session with a Canadian Orientation Officer. This 60-90 minute session will focus on planning your career success and connecting you to organizations in Canada for more pre-departure guidance and support.
