I read somewhere in this forum that CIC only checks their PO Box once in a month, so you are recommended to send it to the courier address...I'm not sure if that's true though (plus the Canada Post employee told me to send it to the PO Box address...). My passport was delivered to the PO Box address on Sep. 30 with signature, so if it's true then they should be checking the PO Box again at the end of this month at the latest? But I sent mine by Priority instead of Xpresspost so I don't know if that made a difference.

oh I hope they're sending it right now.im afraid of sending email again but if I haven't heard any update within this week I'll send another email.i badly need my passport back:(
 
Its been over a month.
With this system, You can expect anything to happen and cannot rely on any timeframes
