Anybody got good news??

Nope, I don't think there's an update with our passports today.
Perhaps tomorrow, let's see!

it was a friend of mine . He got his pp back with copr but the work permit was already expired and when he went for landing the police pull over him and they saw that he was out of status. So they deport him back to his country. Remember people if you are out of status in canada you can't do landing.

I landed and they did not ask for work permit because it's easy if you submit your application to CIC you can get open work permit and when you landing you have the vise for landing and it does not required status in Canada.

This depends on Border officer. In my case when i landed officer asked me about current work-permit and old work permit if available. They took all work permit. They want back so nobody can misuse it.

In my friend case they didn't ask any work-permit but canceled his valid work-visa.

If anybody is going for landing keep your work-permit with you for safety.

I just got email from ottawa, they mailed my passport today. They received on 30 Sept noon... let's see how long it will take to reach California. ..good luck to you guys..

I sent email this morning.. they replied in less than 2 hours!!! Surprising. .

I just got email from ottawa, they mailed my passport today. They received on 30 Sept noon... let's see how long it will take to reach California. ..good luck to you guys..

Congrats! But I was just wondering, if they already send you back your passport today
why is it that your return tracker still not active? My tracker is still not activated so upon reading
your comments here, I also emailed Ottawa this afternoon. Hope I will get a feedback from them.

I don't know how canada post works.. I guess they bring everything to post office without scanning. It gets scanned when it goes out... my tracker not activated yet.. I guess it will by tomorrow. .. idk

I see, so if that is the case maybe they also send back my passport as well.
But anyways, when you emailed Ottawa this morning did you say that you just

It got activated now.. says processed at ottawa at 19:10

Actually I requested visa office change for my wife.. they stamped her visa (already) in India. But they didn't send copr for my baby. So I asked about it and they mailed it with my passport (it was a mess)

Hello guys, i was wondering when you send the email to ottawa, you always get the notification email that your mail was delivered? Return tracker is still not activated. I am tired of this waiting game.
