Guy's i know this may sound paranoid but is there a chance or have you heard or read about someone who got PPR and still got his/her PR application rejected??

it was a friend of mine . He got his pp back with copr but the work permit was already expired and when he went for landing the police pull over him and they saw that he was out of status. So they deport him back to his country. Remember people if you are out of status in canada you can't do landing.

So, took a week to arrive from CPC - Ottawa

Hey samzz, lucky you that you got your passport back that was received on 29th. Congrats. Mine was received by them on 26th and tracker is still not activated. I have no clue of how CIC works. Disappointed.

Dont wori we will receive ours soon! Samzz got his passport back very quick because he sent his application on nov ours is dec maybe thats why

Here is the reply from CPC Ottawa.

We are currently experiencing a high volume of mail intake. We are unable to confirm the receipt of your passport at this time.

We thank you for your patience. In order to efficiently process requests, we will not reply to duplicate emails.

I attached the signature confirmation of the delivery of my express post showing up a Sep 25th date in my email. They are not even able to confirm, whether they have received my passport or not.

I have sent my passport on 29th September through xpresspost and on 1st oct it showed that it went out for delivery. Its 10th October today and it is still showing the same thing. I raised ticket at canada post and they are saying it got delivered. But i mailed CPP ottawa and they replied me saying that they are experiencing high volume of mails and cannot confirm the passport receipt. I am really confused about the whole situation.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for sharing. My work permit will expire next month(Nov.14) and my family is hoping to get our passpors back asap.This is getting me a little worried. My daughter's student permit will expire on the same date as my work permit's expiration too. Come on CIC, keep up the freaking pace! Hehe

My passport has same issue out for delivery since 1 oct and Ottawa saying they cannot confirm don't know what we should do now

i called canada post..they are saying they might have missed the scan..and the package is not with them..CPP took it frm them..dnt knw whats the truth

If they said that it has been successfully delivered then you don't have to worry about it. You just need to figure out the person
who received your documents. If it is expresspost then there should be a signature of the receiver on it. Just call Canadapost hotline
at 1-888-550-6333
