Hey mitsh14, what did the officers tell you about the timeline of getting the pr card? The timeline on cic website says it is only 39 days!

Hi Raj,

The officer told me that it will take 90 days... ( i guess max.) but i have seen some people from previous PPR and landing they received their PR cards in 4-6 weeks...
 
Called CIC today, they confirmed passport had been sent out yesterday but for some reason Canada Post has not activated the tracker.
Passport received by CIC at 10 am on Sep 25.

So you're saying that we can call CIC and ask if our passport has been return back to us?
They have received my passport on Sept. 26 but return tracker is still not activated.
 
1-888-242-2100 is the number you can call about case specific enquiries.
Get you UCI number ready as CIC searches based on UCI

In Canada post tracker not activated right away on the website. So it actually can be that your tracker activated and parcel already in central branch in your city.

I assume Canada Post scan it when received in Ottawa so it should not show status updates when arrived in my city
 
I called CIC, agent said they don't have access to such info...!!
