It says "The number you entered is not in our records" until Ottawa activates the tracking number by sending back your passport.

Seriously? Mine says item accepted in Calgary. I got the returning envelope from Calgary post office. Is it gonna be a problem?

They do not scan the return envelope barcode as an accepted item when you send passports at post office! I think that was a mistake.
Contact to Canada Post and explain the situation.

Is there anyone gets the same status when checking the return tracking number?

I would also like to do a landing at local CIC office like Jizmilak, with the weather as bad as this (im in toronto), going to buffalo isn't attractive at the moment. Does anyone have any info on landing within the country? thanks!

Finally I got my mail activated yesterday. Hopefully I will receive it today.
Do you guy know where is the nearest and best landing place in Saskatchewan. (I am in Regina, Sask)
