Passports Sent to Ottawa in October/November/December 2014

new on this forum....

i filled app on june 2013
got everything done
just received passport request letter on 11 nov, 2014

passport sent to ottawa and reveived by them on 13 nov, 2014...

some people getting their activation tracker for return passport on the very next day when receive their passport ... why they so inconsistent any idea what is the time period going on these day for get pp back

That's a guess:
- Ottawa office needs to check the genuineness and validity of your passport before printing the visa. It may takes more time for some nationalities!
- They have to review your application before stamping your passport. Again, it may takes more time for some nationalities.

Any ideia?

It's 10 business days since Ottawa has received your passport. The return tracking numbers of ukcj, Chicco, and chie15 have been activated in about 12 business days.
I believe that your return tracking number will be activated this week.
