Got the passport back today and COPR.

Contrats...do you mind sharing us the COPR expiry date...is it valid till your medical?

it is valid till 8-oct-2015. I did my medical last year in march-2014

hi guys our passports were received by our consultant yesterday and im expecting it here in my province on monday..cic received it january 28 and sent it feb 11 back with stamps..14 days approx processing..

I used priority express as my way to send my passport, does that count as xpresspost?

I don't think it is the way you send it that matters as long as the return envelope you provide is specifically a Canada Post Expresspost envelope.

You can even Fedex or UPS the passport there, just make sure the return envelope is what they exactly want. They state clearly on the PPR email that they will use regular mail otherwise.

I Agree I strongly recommend if you have no time issues , book an appointment with local immigration office, I went for landing at coutts and I was asked by the officer why I didnt do landing procedure at local office, they were not at all happy with me showing up at border for flag polling. And for those who said that this was just one officer having bad day, I was asked the same question by two officers.

I finally went to the border as an appointment will take about month to happen ( I was waiting one and half yrs now and fed-up with waiting, I needed to finish this once and for all). So today I went to the North Portal in SK.
Drew in to the USA side, an officer checked my passport and said He cannot recognize me , then he smiled and told I look younger in my passport photo. he gave me a laminated paper with driving instructions. Parked there and went to the office to get the administrative refusal, drew back to the Canadian side and officer asked me to come and see inside.
They were extremely helpful and one lady officer literally filled out the COPR form for the guy next to me. They took my study and work permits and told me I dont need these anymore... yay !!
So as you can see my experience was extremely positive and now I dont have to think about this PR thing anymore ! Thank you guys and please AMA.

Hello I sent our passports last January 27 and returned with visa last Feb. 12 to my consultant and I got it on hand today.
