how will he know? unless you inform him about your SIN number change.

A friend of mine told me that they receive a letter/notification from CIC that their employee's papers have gone through! So i wanted to confirm if that was true.

that's new to me. I thought only you and if you assigned/agree the Lawyer can get your information. as long as I know CIC only contacts employer in case of LMO/LMIA, I doubt its CIC or HRD dept.

your friends case may be differnt, employer supported or interested in his file status. this is new to me. check details about his case.

I called CIC yesterday, they told me they have done their work on my passport on Feb 24, hopefully they can send out my visa soon.

CIC received Feb 13
so far tracked not activated

Why they didn't sent it back? My passport sent on 13th and they received it on 16th. Still waiting.

If anyone are going to carway landing, please court me in. I just received my passport today and book Canada place landing which will take 6 to 8 weeks now.

Most landing places are only available during weekdays from 7 am to 10 pm

What? I thought you can land 24-7 as they will have the CBSA officer there all the time? I saw people landing around 10 pm Friday night (when I went to border to renew my TFW status)

Ya depends which border crossing you go to. Here in Bc not all of them are open 24-7.
