in CoPR, do they guide us like what documents we should take with us for flagpole. I am not sure whether officer may ask PoF even though I have submitted LMO and Job Offer in my application.

Hi Jamason,

I'll take pay stubs with me as POF and statement for whatever i have in my account. I am on work permit. I think Pay stubs will prove that we need not to have 12k in our account.

Thank You

The average time to receive back passport and CoPR after CIC received seems like 15 days. Anyone who received took longer than this, please comment.

Is that 15 business days ?

no around 10 business days if we check some recent applicants. and 15 overall....

i have a question:

what if i already have US visa? do i still get refusal letter from US side if i just make a U turn?

or is it better to just go few miles inside US for couple of hours and then come back for landing?

bcz i don't want refusal if that counts in the future visas....

and ya even if landing is possible at any local office with less wait times then is it a good way?

I am not sure what they will do with the people those who have US visa but the refusal letter that you get is unofficial.

also does anything change in Mycic before they dispatch the passport ?

Just tell them that you're going to USA for shopping, buy something in the closest store and go back towards Canada.

You're PoF exempt, thus I suggest to take LMO, WP, confirmation of employment and print out of this page: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

Thanks Anarsoul. I will do so.

This would create an entry in PP and should prepare to talk with US officier for visit. You have to exit the rainbow bridge and then come back. if it is refusal slip, it is just a U turn. Not much required to answer US officer.

Thanks for the update...How many days it took to change the status in myCIC, after your passport received by CIC?
