hi everyone...can someone help me or give an advice...im about to submit my OWP/PR apps dis coming january 2012 and my passport will expired on june 2013...do you think i need to renew it now?renewing passport at Phil. Gen. Con. will take 2mos..if i renew my passport dis month i can't make it by january to submit my apps.bec. probably my passport will be released by feb..help please..is it ok to submit photo copy of my passport expiring jun. 2013?thanks.. :'(

No you don't, but it will have to be valid when you "land" or get your OWP>

shey shey you can submit your PR/OWP application on Jan 2012 and when you renew your passport send to CIC right away.
