Hello,

I’m applying to my passport next week and I’m a bit worried as I’m applying abroad from an embassy . Has anyone done that ? I would like to ask you some questions please .

did anyone present their foreign passport as ID ?
did They accept it ? On their website it says they accept it but I’ve heard from other people that it has been refused.
I have my student drivers license but it has my address of 2 years ago ( I know I didn’t update it because I didn’t know I had to update it ) so I’m worried it would be a problem if I submit it .

Why don’t you contact the consular section of your Cdn embassy and ask? They’re very quick to respond to Canadians.
they can easily give you what they require.
Call or email them……asap
