Passport with CIC for 3 weeks for visa stamping

Hi All
I am starting another Post. My passport is with CIC for 3 weeks and the tracker has not activated yet. I know some people have the same issue.
I humbly request eveyone to comment your experince and if someone had a same situation?

I am still waiting.. sent passport on July 25th.. still no response.

A friend of mine submitted her passport 3 weeks ago as well. Since she hadn't received a response, she contacted the local MP and they told her that the next batch of passports will apparently be sent out on September 24th or so.

So don't worry, I'm sure you will get your passports soon.

September 24th means are they going to keep the passports for another 1 month... too bad

People do get their passport in 2-4 weeks

I guess it makes sense because I saw couple of ppl from Visa Exempt country getting PPR last week..

May be the delay is because they ran out of their Quota for the Visa.. So guess we will have to wait till the next cycle so that they can roll out Visas.
