Dear All,
I am planning to travel to Canada with my Family on 1 April 2022. My daughter's passport will expire on 14 August 2022. Visa stamped on the passport will expire on 15 July 2022. Will it be an issue while boarding?

Travelling on what basis? PR, citizen, tourist?

Thanks for the reply, I am travelling to validate my PR (Soft Landing)
Your daughter should be let in to Canada with no issues as she is "settling". But if planning to leave not long after , no idea what would happen elsewhere (travelling to return to country of origin and other stopovers). Other countries may be picky about the time remaining on passport.

I'm assuming your daughter already has the COPR etc. Obviously would be preferable to renew the passport beforehand.

Again, should not be that much of an issue for coming to Canada, but after that may be problems.

Note, if your daughter gets PR card based on the current passport, there's no critical 'link' to her that passport and she can renew her passport without causing problems with the PR card and using that in future.
