Passport will expire. Can I apply for Citizenship?

Hi,

My passport is about to expire in 3 weeks. I may be able to have it renewed. However, there is a chance that I cannot have it renewed because I haven't fulfilled the mandatory military or alternative service in my originally-born country, can I still apply for Canadian citizenship with my expired passport?

Of course. You don't need a valid passport for the citizenship application.
