Passport under process at IRCC

Me and my friend got passport request on Feb 6,2020. We both submitted to VFS on Feb 7 and our passport was under process at IRCC from Feb 11. However, he got his passport back within 3 days but i have got no updates. I have no travel history as well my passport has still 8 years for expiry. What is taking time? Please do share your experience after passport at IRCC office mail so that i can get idea whether its normal or its something happening only with me.

You do not have to worry. U got passport request which is good. So relax and start packing

I have got no response from IRCC as it's been 18 days of Passport submission via VFS Nepal. The passport reached to IRCC New Delhi on 11 of Februrary.
