Passport Translation Required for Citizenship Application?

Hello,

I am from Latin America and will be applying for my Canadian Citizenship next month.
I reviewed the application and information and I have a question I hope someone can help me with.
My passport is in Spanish - do I need to get it translated by a certified translator before submitting it with my Citizenship application?
The information on the website with respect to Canadian Citizenship does says all documents not in English must be translated but, when we did my spousal sponsorship, I don't remember us having my passport translated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

if your information on the passport like your name, date of birth ...are in english. then you
are required to send a photo copy of the same.
but when you go for the interview and test and if you have any stamp and/or visa that is not
in english then you must have them translated.
