Passport tracking through vfs india

Hi,
My parents visitor visa application got approved a week back and we arranged for the passport pick up and drop service through vfs india. We recently received a notification from vfs that the passport has been processed and it has been dispatched and can be tracked with an awb number. Is it the same awb number which was provided by vfs when we arranged for passport pickup or a different one? Their email notification did not have any other awb number. Thanks in advance!

Do you know how to track the passport application now?

Actually not really. The passport got delivered a day after getting the email notification from vfs. So did not try tracking further.

I’m not sure if they’ll send out any notifications about passports received or not..

VFS sends email notification when the passport is sent to the visa office and when the processing is completed by visa office. I guess they send it to the email if provided in the courier/sms consent form.

Actually I asked my agent and he told that he has not received tracking I’d yet. It’s been sixth day now
