I submitted my passport to VFS New Delhi on 20th morning and on 22nd afternoon I got this message from VFS:

"Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office NEW DELHI, on 22/04/2016 to the Canada Visa Application Centre and is ready for collection."

Now what is Canada Visa Office and what is Canada Visa Application Centre? Does this mean from Canada High Commission to VFS? And can I go and collect my passport? To confirm, I checked mycic and the Final decision status shows that this application has been approved.

It has been only 2 days, that's why I am not sure if this process can happen so fast.

Its seems you have stamped passport at VFS Office at CP. Just go and collect it....I have submitted my passport today...Lets hope for such speedy response to others as well.

Hello all ,

i have a query, can anyone help / advice

i recieved a mail on 21st April 2016 from CIC to submit my passport & photos. however they have told to submit passport via VFS in india. However , i am staying in Dubai as a resident.

i am confused how can i submit my passport to vfs in india (new delhi) being in dubai. don't know what to do... Should i visit VFS in Dubai...should i tell CIC to change visa office.

can anyone pls help...

u can submit ur passport to any vfs in the world. it will to automatically directed to New Delhi.

So that means i donot have to change the Visa Office by requesting CIC.

In any case i raised a case specific query yesterday to have CIC request for the visa office.

Let me wait for there reply now..

I sent the passports to NDVO on 25th April and received a message yesterday that it has been processed and sent to Mumbai VFS. I should probably receive in a day or two.

I submitted on the same day (At delhi VFS) but still no update, showing as "Processing".
Ah i see, you are under PNP.. maybe that's why.

VFS Kathmandu. The status as of today is "has been dispatched from Visa Office to Visa Application Centre" (something to that effect). MyCIC status has been updated to Final Decision "approved". To sum:

VFS submitted (Kathmandu): Apr 26
PP reached NDVO: Apr 27
PP dispatched from NDVO: May 3

I submitted my passport and photographs and Chandigarh VFS on 29th April 2016. Yesterday it was showing that my passport is being processed at Canada Visa office New Delhi. It is still showing the same status as of today.

However, Yesterday only I received an SMS stating that my passport is being forwarded to Canada visa office Chandigarh.

I am not able to find the exact status of my passport since both the statuses are different.

Can someone please help.

Same thing happened to me as well.

I submitted my passports to VFS Chennai. VFS site and in email alert, the status said my application is forwarded to NDVO. Whereas SMS it said it has been forwarded to VFS Bangalore.

as per the blue dart tracking number, my passport is being shipped from Delhi.

May be a system glitch.

Don't worry. you will get your passport back, just check for the updates only on te site

However, One more thing I want to know. How can one find out what is Bluedart courier waybill number or reference number through which we can track our shipment at Bluedart website.
