So finally after a month we were able to collect our passports yesterday. The funny part is my husbands COPR was issued on March 12th itself, but my COPR was issues only on April 04th. Not sure why it took so long for mine to get issued.

To those whose stamping is taking time, its probably because the issuance of the COPR is taking time. Hold on for sometime and I am sure it would bear fruit.

Hi - I am in the same situation as you were there before. Have submitted my passport with my dependents on 21st March 2016 at VFS,Bangalore and still waiting. Hope to get it soon

Got our passports back today with visa and copr.

It seems you got your PR in about two months.
Did you receive any phone call from Canada high commission in New-Delhi.
I submitted my application one week after you, I.e. 16th Feb. I received phone call yesterday, where they asked some details about me and my wife.

I got a mail today that the passport is couriered from New Delhi but profile status is still in progress.

Hi! we got the mail to submit our passports in the Canadian high commission delhi . We have submitted our passports in VFS , Chennai on April 12 .

Since April 13th , I see this status " Visa application, tracking ID No.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website "

That doesn't matter. You will still get PPR then NDVO will put immigrant visa on ur passport and that is when you receive COPR

Thanks for the reply

I was confused since I read on this forum that many people got the COPR directly without PPR & Also the inland candidates too get the COPR directly

No. That could be for people from visa exempt countries.

Hi everyone,

I received my PPR last night.

I have to submit the passport to VFS New Delhi.

Can someone guide me if they have gone through with the process? What is the fees and how it is to be paid? Do I need to book an appointment or is it a walk in procedure?

I have to undertake domestic travel the next week. Hence, I need to submit my passport by Friday max.

Thanks in advance.
