Whats your VO ?? U sumbitted kn 12 and no info?? Did u call vfs??

Am so interested in this as well. Mine has been stuck at " Forwarded to Visa Office since the 12th, although not NDVO".

Would like to know if there is a status like-- Passport received at the Visa Office

AVO. Not yet, learnt passport stamping there typically takes 10 working days. So, am patiently bidding my time in seconds to complete the 10 days.

For India, the progress is
1. Passport forwarded to visa office
2. Application being processed at VO
3. Passport handed over to CVAC (VFS)
4. Passport couriered to your address OR Passport ready for pickup

between 2 & 3, MyCIC status will change to approved/closed

It seems that it's been more than 10 days you sent your passport? That means it may take up to 2 weeks...we have sent mine on 18th so was just curious..

Submitted my passport on 12th to New Delhi VFS. Today the status says "Passport has been couriered from the Canada Visa Application Centre, on 25/01/2016 vide courier partner. To track the status of the shipment, please visit courier partner website." No courier name/tracking id mentioned. Called up VFS but they say it takes 2 working days to update the tracking number. Since I reside in Delhi, hopeful that I'll get the passport before 2 days.... But you never know

Hi all,

We got our COPR and stamped passports today. We had sent these through an agent to the New Delhi VFS coz there is no VFS branch in our state.

However, we were surprised to see the COPR documents folded multiple times and pinned to the last page of our passports. There was no cover or anything. And moreover, a slight tear is also there on one of the documents. We had enquired at VFS, they said they sent it in a sealed package.

Would our documents be regarded as tampered due to this?

so I just got my ppr and it says submit via VFS. I am presently out of town back only next week. should i email them for more time? or do i just submit it at vfs once i am able to submit at local VFS.

also regarding photos are the photos taken at VFS sufficient?

One week should not be a problem. Doesnt require extension nirmally.
For the photos its an issue with the spec. Easy sokution is to just take it frm the vfs studio.. no confusion.

Depends if ur vfs has a photo studio.. in which vfs will u submit?
Check vfs canada website in service page. They have mentioned which cities have photo booth inside vfs..

Hi All,

Just got a passport request last week, got a few questions, all experts please help

1) how much time does one have to land in Canada- some post mentioned 180 days while some said until medicals are valid, not sure what is correct

2) Is the PR card only issued to the applicant or anyone in the address mentioned can collect it?

Here's my update. Received CoPR on 27-Jan. Valid till 6 months from the date of issue (my medical expires 7 days prior to CoPR expiry date, considering validity of medical for 1 year). But the problem is CoPR has incorrect passport expiry date. Raised a CSE to New Delhi office and waiting for response.

I got the same email this morning. They usually take between a week to 10 days to deliver your passport. Updates are usually case dependent but the next one should be in a couple of days or so once the PP is received by the Canadian high commission.

Hello, have you gotten your passport back? How many days did it take? Did you use DHL or VFS global, and did your tracking ever change from " Forwarded to Accra Office on ......."?
