Passports sent March 22.. Received back on April 1 and Application approved and closed...

My wife and I submitted our passports at VFS Chandigarh on March 18th, 2016. Its been more than 2 weeks and aboit 9 working days, still havent heard anything. VFS and New Delhi embassy has no information other than telling me that its "under process". I have emailed delhi immigration but no reply as well.

Anyone in similar situation? Any suggestions what can I do? It is very frustrating as I am losing on my work in Canada. Please help.

submitted my passport on 21st..Application approved and closed on 29th..VFS tracking shows that the passport has been dispatched to Visa application centre on 1st april..no news after..Waiting for further update..

Hi Sara88,

If you have selected to pick the passport personally, then you can go and collect them from VFS.
No action from their side after that.

This is the embassy number.
I tried my luck this morning but no success.
You also try. Might get lucky.

Thanks Pranav. I am from Kerala and because its not easy to travel to Bangalore I choose the courier option. Anyway right now my status shows ready for collection. So I hope to receive it by wed/Thursday through bluedart.

I also called them this morning. I got through pretty easily. But it was of no use. They said the visa section doesn't have a phone contact and that they communicate only through e-mail. So I have sent a mail asking when is the probable day for dispatch for my passport.
