Submitted my passport on 6 Jun-22, sent to IRCC by VFS on 7 Jun-22. Called VFS on 7 Jul-22, they said its out of their hands and I need to wait for Canada visa office to revert. Called again on 25 Jul-22, they said to mail to ldnimmigration@international.gc.ca . No reply since then. Looking at this thread, looks like 8 weeks is not a long time.

That’s crazy. I sent mine about 10 days ago. I have already prepaid trips coming in a few weeks and I need my passport soon. This slow copr time with LVO so annoying.
If I had known this beforehand, I would have sent my passport somewhere else :(

I suggest you request your passports back closer to the date you travel. They told me a couple of times they can return passports if urgently needed, but you'll then have to submit again and wait all over.
Absolutely terrible service at IRCC London, no backlog can explain why it should take 2-3 months to stamp a visa that's already been issued. A complete embarrasment!

I just got this on my tracker The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No. XXXX has been dispatched from the IRCC Office, to the Canada Visa Application Centre in London.
What does this even mean? I mean, it has been in London since almost 2 months now.

Hi guys,

Just a quick note, if you are in a hurry to travel, it is best to avoid LVO. Sometimes they are fast with a one week timeline but mostly they are slow. If you can contact other VOs then try to find the best one to send to for your timeline.

In my time, after I recalled. Kenya VO took about 5 days from its reciept to stamping. And the rest of the process was flawless.

If you aren't under London jurisdiction it will be hard to get a faster response. Cheers!!

Hi,
I have sent my passports on 1st June, 2022 and they reached the IRCC office at London on 6th June, 2022. I did not hear anything from them post that and hence reached out to the London Visa Office on Friday last week for an update. They gave a response which is stated below:

' Please submit your inquiry related to your application via our website’s case specific inquiry form, by selecting your program as the application type.

This will allow your enquiry to be triaged to the Case Processing Center in Canada responsible for your application, who are best placed to review your enquiry and to provide you with a timely response.'

This response tells me to raise a general webform which I have done post their email. Did you get a similar response initially? I would assume since they are the ones processing my application right now, they should be able to provide me with an update. What was your experience with them?

Thank you in advance.

From which VAC u send ur passport?

Hi. I got PPR last week and submitted passports on the very next day. I have a different problem that's bothering me.

When I added my spouse in Dec 2021, I provided them IMM5669 for my wife and myself. In early July 2022, when reviewing submitting documents, I realized I had responded with incorrect answers to statutory questions for myself. My wife's IMM5669 had a different (minor) error.

I immediately corrected the IMM5669s and sent the same documents to following locations:
1. London VO via webform
2. London VO via email
3. CSC via IRCC general webform

LVO informed me on July 18 that they had received documents and they were awaiting review. On 2 Aug, I got PPR and submitted passport.

Now, today I got an email from CE CSC on my general webform (sr. 3) that they had received the documents and forwarded to concerned VO for consideration.

I am worried if they will start my process all over again because of this even though it's the same document. Will this delay on part CE CSC cause further delays in my application?

Has anyone been ever through this?

Anyone who has recalled their passport from LVO here, please how did you go about it? LVO is notorious for not even responding to emails and case inquiries take several weeks to get a response too.
Also, if I recall my passport and the original 30 days has elapsed, will another VO accept my passport for COPR and visa stamping?
My passport is now 4 weeks and it’s an important document, I need it for several things at the moment.

Hi,

i am currently in the Netherlands , I sent my passport for stamping after receiving my copr on 12 june to Hague and it reached the London office from there on 15 th June . I’m still waiting . No information here . I need the passport to get myself registered here in the Netherlands but the London visa office isn’t replying or being helpful . Anyone who received their passport to the Netherlands recently around the same timeline . I’m already pretty worried .

Hi Everyone, Does anyone have any updates on their timelines? IRCC received our documents on the 11th July but still not heard anything.
