Passport to CPC ottawa, Out for delivery for 2 days!!!!

I live in Ottawa, sending my passport to CPC-Ottawa for COPR. Tracking showed that was out for delivery for 2 days. Called Canada post, they said that it was dropped to the mail room already, and the tracking will never update.

Does anyone has the same experience like me? just post here for people who panic like me.

I chose to send through express and enabled tracking with signature request, will let you know how it goes.

I got delivered message on online tracking.

I live in Ottawa downtown. Once I sent a package to the Ottawa Office which is 2 streets away. It took 4 days. First it went to Montreal post centre for processing then it came back. So, anything can happen

The regular mail costed me 14.xx$ and 4 days to deliver and the express with tracking and signature 16.xx$, even if it did cost me 20$ extra for next day delivery it is worth the money.

I think it is because you paid for the signature, right?

No, the express costed me same except it didnt have signature option included which was strange, I opted signature it hasn't showed up but the tracking worked.
