Passport to CPC Ottawa - May 2017

Hi everyone, I might need help here. I got my PPR May 10 and sent the passport on May 11 from Vancouver. My passport is expected to be delivered on May 15. However, the mailing status I tracked online is still in transit and have not even arrived Ottawa. I called the Canada post and they said they will contact me by the end of this Friday. But I'm kind of worried now as I will need my passport very soon. Does anyone come across this problem before? Thank you.

I sent mine from Calgary on 10th May and is still stuck in transit. I'm worried too.

My dates are as follows:

PPR email - May 10
Passports sent from US - May 11
Passports delivered - May 12

I am in urgent need of COPR due to personal reasons.

When can I expect something( approval, return tracker activation, and COPR) based upon the present trend? Which method of follow up is more effective if needed, later this week? Email or phone?

Guys, I think I might just screwed up my passport package to Ottawa !

When I'm putting my passport, photos and the annex A doc into the big package. The lady at Canada Post asked me to fill out the return address in the return Xpressport evelope but now I'm rereading the visa request email. They specifically state that :

DO NOT FILL OUT THE ADDRESS SECTION ON YOUR CANADA POST RETURN ENVELOPE.

What should I do now??? Did I just screw up the return envelope?

Application Approved - 15th May
Tracker Active- 16th May 6:53PM
Expected Delivery - 17th May

I'm sure it should be fine. Especially if that address is the exact one on Annex A. If anything they'll just put a sticker or something on top. The main thing I would think is that you provided a prepaid envelope for them to send your passport back in. I'm sure they'll understand since in prior years they always told you to fill it in. Depending on when you sent it, just wait for a week or two and you should hear back. Don't worry too much about it. It's not a significant mistake.

The trend shows a week from delivery to Ottawa to approval.

No worries you are good I did same mistake but got my passport back they will put sticker on top of that with your address detail.

Hi everyone,

Is anyone whose passport was delivered to Ottawa in last week still waiting for their application to be approved?
My passport was delivered to Ottawa on 10th May, but in MyCIC the status still: "application is in progress."

Tracker has not been activated yet.
