Passport to CPC - Ottawa July 2018

Hi, I am currently residing in the US and had applied for a TRV a month ago. Here's my timeline:

1. Submitted the completed application on 7 Aug 2018.
2. Application approved on 28 Aug 2018 and passport request was generated.
3. Sent the passport via UPS with FedEx return shipping label on 30 Aug 2018.
4. Receiver requested that the delivery address be changed twice and finally it got delivered today (6 Sep 2018) to 2303 Stevenage Drive; signed by ROSIE.
5. Waiting for passport to be stamped with visa and returned.

My flight to Canada is on 24 Sep 2018. I hope I receive my passport before that date.

I sent my passport on October 25th the CPC Ottawa received it on 26th. The return tracker has not been activated

Has your GCKey updated yet?? My passport was received on oct 31, GCKey updated to approved on nov 5 but they haven’t mail my documents yet I called IRCC this morning and the agent confirmed that everything’s been ready since Monday but there’s no tentative date to return my passport and CoPR :’(

My GCkey has been updated with Approved message on Nov1st with Counterfoil number. I reached out to them yesterday and today they stated due to high number of approved application delays are expected. My schedule flight is on Nov 21st.. I'm so upset

My scheduled flight is the 19th so I understand how you feel. I don’t get why they can’t just mail all the approved passports they have

Hope they will send the passport by next week since their office is close on the 12th.

I hope so. What bothers me is that we’re forced to use a Canada post envelope to receive such sensitive documents despite the fact that they’re on strike. The least they could do is allow us to use FedEx instead like they do for applicants who live in the US

I hope you get your passport on time. I live in US and used Fedex to send my passport directly to CPC Ottawa rather than the VAC Center. I'm having second thoughts now that I should have send it to VAC since they send you the tracking number to check whether your passport has been dispatched from the Visa office or not.
I reached out to them but when they replied they didn't say anything on when they will return the passport. I just hate to cancel my flights, hotel and travel plans.

Please update here when your tracker gets activated did the call centre agent tell you by any chance when can you expect your passport to be mailed?? I know some people were told the date in which their passport should be mailed and in my case the agent said I didn’t have a set date yet

PP request: October 25th
PP mailed Via Fedex to CPC ottawa: October 25th
PP Delivered: October 26th
Approval notice: Nov1
Return track activated: november 8th
Picked up my passport: Today November 9th.

Hello @sreekar545 , I am in exact similar situation and fedex delivered my packge to 2303 Stevenage Drive, instead of laurier avenue. Can you please let me know if 2303 stevenage drive is the right address? I have my flight next week and my father is unwell.. will really really appreciate your reply..
