Hi All

I don't know if this is the right forum to ask this (If not please let me know where to post this.)

I got the email for COPR and sent my passport to CANADA. I want to know:

1.) What is the landing process. Currently I am in USA (on WORK VISA), can I take a flight to any airport in CANADA or I need to go for any particular port of entry?. What all documents should I carry and what all questions will be asked at port of entry.

2.) I don't have any job offer in CANADA. Once I reached I need to search the job. Will it affect anything. How do I notify CIC about my address (Once I take any apartment on rent) so CIC can send the PR CARD.

3.) Once enter in CANADA can I come back to USA (as I have work permit) before getting the PR CARD (In case of any urgent situation and I have to return back). Let's say I enter in CANADA and be there for a week or so and return back to USA or India and I update my friend address in CIC to send the PR CARD. Will that work or is there a minimum duration that I need to stay.

I sent my passport to Ottawa on Jun 16 and they are showing as delivered on Jun 19.. Since then there is no update.. anyone else with similar timeline and can share some updated.. I am currently in the US..

I got the mail to send passports for COPR. My question is: me and my wife hold indian passport and my son holds US passport. Do I need to send the original passport for my son too?

I’m not really familar with CIC stuff, but i have a question about the passport request from CIC. I’m just wondering do you guys know how long does it take for them to send the passport back? Because i sent it to them on Dec 10th 2018 and delivered on Dec 11th 2018. Just really hope that i can get it before christmas dec 25th 2018.
