Dear Friends

I know this is discused many times before but I would like to hear if there is any new news. I got PP request from London - CHC and I will be sending my passport on April 6th, I confirmed with DHL that it will reach Lonond by 8th. Possibly when can I get it back !! My worry is I live outside my home country and I new to this place also. Without my passport I am No one here !!

I wrote to CHC that can I submit to the place where I live but it was refused so I am left with no option. Based on reply for this thread I need to be preapred to live here without passport

Thanks

Sam,

Sr. PMM is right. The CHC-London PPR letter itself says 30-45 days. I got mine in 23 days, while the fastest I know of got it in 21 days... the avg being 30 days [in Dubai].

The PHEP Section themselves take around a week to 10 days to process the visa/s, then the time to revalidate it [transparent sticker by the Control Officer] & then the post/courier time. So, your 'wish' of "3 working days" might be true, but only after it has gone to the despatch cell.

CHC-London takes 2 weeks to stamp the visas in person. They'd give a 'collection date' on the Next Thursday [1 free Thursday in between]. Collections are 'only' on Thursdays.

Thus, the 'friend option' is a good choice if one is hard on time.

if you go to the country of destination where you will have peace of mind and then send it to cic london from there. thereafter you could request a friend to collect it for you in london office. you will need to writ e a letter and the other person will have to take his id with hime.

Ok hoe p helps.
