how was the experience at hyderbad VFS like? ill be going there monday. do they take photos there?

Pretty simple. They give you a token and direct you towards two different counters, one for payment and the other for handing over the passport.

Yes, they do take pictures at the center. There is a photographer on the same floor. The pictures I took had dimensional issues they said. So took pictures from the available photo booth.

Safe to carry two copies. Only one copy was needed for my deposit though.

If you are getting your own photographs make sure you have details written / stamped on the backside as per the guidelines.

The experience I had was good. They will force you to opt for xourico service, but I didn't. Regarding photos,better take from there itself.
There is a photographer and locker facility at the downstairs. Good luck .
