Passport Submission

Hi,

Me and my have recently received an email from the Ottawa immigration office asking us to submit our passport, photo, anexure (attached with the email) and send it to them via Canada post. My wife is he primary and I am the dependent.

My question is, (1) my wife is residing in Canada as a student and I am residing in UAE. How should we submit our passports as it instructed the primary to submit it with the accompany. (2) do I need to submit my original passport or the complete passport copy will do as the email states "passport or passport copy".

Could you please guide us as we only have a few days left to submit the requested documents.

What is your Nationality? Are you from Visa exempt country? If yes then you need to attach passport copy on your CIC account. If No then you need to drop mail to CPC ottawa to let them know you are in UAE and your wife is in canada. And you need to submitt your passport to Visa office in UAE

Thank you for your reply. Our nationality is not part of visa except country. Then I should send an email to Ottawa for further instructions for submission.
There is an Annexure in Ottawa immigration email in which only my wife's (primary) name is there and she has been asked to fill and sign and submit along with the documents. My name is not there not I have received a seperate email from then also. Do I also need to sign beside my wife's signature and then submit?
And is there any CIC form that I need to fill up and submit along with my document submission.

I am in a similar situation, my wife and daughter are in a different country than I currently am.

May I know how you resolved this issue ?

Hi Nader,

If you are in the same situation please send an email to the immigration office email id which is mentioned on the email which you would have received from them to submit your documents. Please explain you exact situation including the countries and cities each of you are in.

I am posting this here in case someone has a similar query in the future.

I went to VFS Global Dubai yesterday and they took the passports from me.

No issues at all.

Dear members:

I received the PPR, which was forwarded to me by my representative as part of his email and not as an attachment. The PPR part of his email starts simply with date,UCI no. And application no. and ends with the statement that this letter is computer generated and does not require any stamp/signature.

However from what I have read on the forum, the PPR letter is always on letter head, whereas in my case there isn't any letterhead and just a plain email. Should I just print the PPR part of the email and that is good enough or must it be on letterhead? Please guide.

Also, should the form asking info be filled in pen?

Lastly, can the photographs be made by any professional photographer or must these be snapped at VFS office?

Please help me out with these confusions. Thanks.
