Passport Submission [URGENT HELP NEEDED]

Hello everyone.

I received an email today stating that I need to submit my passport. I wanted to renew my passport before sending it because it's going to expire in 2 and I want it to atleast have the 5 years for the course period. Is it okay to renew it since all the stamps I have shown when I applied will not be there in the new one and my picture will be changed?

I think you proceed with this passport that you have handy, still it has 2 years time, when got your visa and you are in Canada, you can renew your passport through your country embassy in canada. don't delay to send your passport, secure your visa, other things can be done later.

You should have renewed before applying,
But Now don't take risk as on every document you current passport number is mentioned.

So send this passport only.

Thanks guys. I only wanted to renew it to get the 4 years multiple entry visa, but like you said, I better not risk it.

Once you're there and have successfully completed a semester, getting a study permit extension would only be just paperwork for you.

getting the initial permit is difficult so get that without any glitches first,
