Passport submission New Delhi IRCC

Hi everyone, new on here. My parents got a passport submission email and we submitted passport to new delhi ircc on 25th April. Still haven't heard back and it says in process when checked online on vfs. Their tickets are booked for May 19th to fly to Canada! Any advise? Its for family class pr application.

Nothing you can do but wait. Can you change the tickets? Might be worth pushing it ahead a few weeks while you still can.

If you have non-refundable and unchangeable tickets then just wait and hope you get the passport before the 19th.

That is the thing, they are actually coming here for my wedding which is on June 1st so not a lot of room now. They do have visitor visa already but that's not going to help if their passport isn't even with them.

Argh, that's tight. Hopefully they'll get their passports before the 19th. Besides, what's a wedding without drama

You could still push the flights from the 19 to a week or so later. Of course, if you do this (and probably pay a few hundred $), you'll probably get the passports the very next day.

Also, the 25th was a Thursday, so it's only really been 1 full work week for them to process the visa. You ought to get the passports back next week.
