Hi,
My parents are with me on visit visa in Canada. Recently, i received an email from CIC London, UK (with my Canadian address on it) specifying that my parents should submit their passports to Islamabad (Pakistan) office within 30 days and if they are not residing in Pakistan curently, they should write to London office for further guidance. We sent London office an email and are still waiting for the response. Can anyone help me what would happen next. One of my friends told me that, once allowed by CIC London, I can submit my parent's passports to one of the visa offices in Canada and once we get the PR visa on their passports, we can drive down to the US border, where they will decline the entry to my parents and on reaching back the Canadian checkpost, all the immigration related formalities would be completed.
Appreciate your help in this regard.

Thanks.

I would recommend that you post your question to the Family Sponsorship part of the forum. You will get more responses there.

However you answer your question - yes, once you have the PR visa, you can drive them down to the US border, exit Canada, get an administrative refusal from the US side, and then re-enter Canada to trigger the PR visas. It's a very straight-forward processs.
