Passport Submission - Buffalo Office Closing

Salsa...just FYI.. the reply I received via email from the Buffalo VO regarding my passport query clearly stated that the passport is USUALLY returned within 15 business days. This tells me that there could be delays beyond 15 days. Having said that, I truly hope that you receive your passport soon.

When did you send your query? before or after they closed Buffalo VO?

Dear Pandora...I sent my query on June 4th and received reply on June 5th. The VO is not closed per se. They are still processing pending PPRs. Definitely, they are not accepting any new applications. There is still some time before they actually lock down their facility. I was told by the consulate that they'll continue to process PPRs that were received on or before 31st May. Fortunately, my passport was delivered on May 31st

PP received by VO 30 th May
PP received back on 16th June

Dear US2C and Pandora, My status today changed to "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." Did your status also change to the same prior to receiving your passports or did you guys receive it straight away with e-status still being "In-Process"?

The e-status just changed today and my USPS return shipping's tracking number also hasn't gotten activated yet.

I wasn't aware that they are closing so I sent my passport to Fort Erie and the package was refused and probably will be returned to me. But I don't know what to do now.....where should I send my passport? How much longer do I need to wait......

Is anyone in the same situation?

I always check this specific thread because im the same situation with you guys. the only difference is mine is TRV extension.

Here's mine:

Application submitted to Fort Erie: Mar. 29, 2012 - (10AM) before the VO close at night as i always check VO site.
Application received by Fort Erie: June 1, 2012- (8AM) Item successfully delivered as per canada post
Returned envelope: not activated...still waiting as of today......

Hoping to receive mine within this week or next week..

I never checked my status regularly after i sent passports to VO. My status now has the same message as yours.
