Hi guys!

I have one question and I hope you could help me. PR interview of my sponsor was approved a week ago and they advised us to wait for the Passport Request Letter which to be issue by Abu Dhabi-VO. Did any one of you guys knows how long it takes to received or to issue the passport request letter from Abu Dhabi-VO? I am based here in KSA and I'm a little bit worried because my contract ends this coming September.

Thank you in advance. God Bless

Congratulations Fahad007!

I just received PPR now and would like to follow what you have done. I am living in Dubai and planning to submit the passport by hand to the Embassy in Abu Dhabi. Do I need to secure a return airway bill from Aramex before going to the Embassy or do they facilitate it there? Did anyone from our dearest forum members followed the same thing as what Fahad007 did? I am just curious if I can save some money if I bring the passport by hand to the embassy rather than sending it by Aramex. Thank you and all the best for the applicants.

Hello elmario

Even I received the PPR on the 16th and I spoke to the VFS Abudhabi office, they said I can submit the passport at the Dubai processing center. And the visa will be stamped by the Abudhabi office and sent back to us with in 10days.

So I am planning to and submit ASAP.

Hi Shijukabby,

Would you mind telling me how to get in touch with Dubai processing center? Where are they located and how much do they charge for the Passport delivery and pick up services?

Thanks Fahad007 for sharing your invaluable experience to us. Hope you don't mind me asking again, did you pay the courier up front or only after receiving your passport back? Do you still remember the amount you paid for the courier service? Thanks and more power to you!

and 16dhrs for the courier charges..

Umm Hurair 2 – Dubai – UAE

Helpline number: +971 4 2055881 - Speak to them if ur lost they are really helpful.

u can see the map just in case.

also. During Ramadan they work from 9am - 2pm.

( My consultant told me that I should write to CIC and get their permission before submitting my passport at vfs Dubai, as my PPR said I need to submit at Newdelhi office, iam really so confused now.

Anyone else waiting for their passports from Abu dhabi embassy ??

Weird how Aramex has no clue to the shipment....would have preferred VFS any day but the embassy prefers only Aramex

Friends, my passport was received by Canadian embassy Abu Dhabi on 28-May through Aramex and since then I haven't heard any thing back. Is there any way to contact Abu Dhabi embassy and check the status?
