we sent our parents passports and its in ircc bangalore office since 21-07-2022, no updates after that…in month of february when we sent our in laws passports it was stamped on same day it was received there..is it taking longer these days?
Yes it is taking 5-8 working days. Make sure to exclude weekends and look for an update.
People whose passports reached on July 19th got the tracking back today

My parent's passport were sent on Friday i.e 22nd july from Chd vfs and on 25th july i.e today, the tracking status is updated to ready for collection.
Excluding weekends, it amounts to 1 day but I think it has more to do with IRCC office being in Chandigarh more so in the same building as VFS which kind of save time in transit.

got an update saying its approved (visa stamped!) n ircc site also status changed to approved..hopefully will get back passport this week
